I really don't like it, but I really don't know what else to do.

Might be cool to make it into more of a crest ( http://img110.imageshack.us/img110/1381/crest11yp.jpg )? For some reason I always picture those when I think Germany. They also have a very strong focus on the central objects and allow for secondary objects/repetition as well.

Depth of Field study.

First picture is shot with f32 and the second with f5.8

f-stop=aperture of the lens, basically how big of a whole the light goes through once it passes through all the glass and before it hits the film.

Yup, it's the difference between shallow and deep focus. The lens was set to 50mm and from there different aperture settings change the focus. At lower f-stops (the bigger the opening) more light gets let in and so it creates that blur. At higher f-stops (the smaller the opening) the same amount of light is let in through a smaller opening, but the shutter stays open longer to compensate. Through this foreground, mid-ground, and background come into focus.

I shot this with my Nikon N75 that had a kit lens. I just zoomed into 50mm for all the shots like you would with a standard f1.8-2 lens. The new AE-1 that i have shoots in Aperture Priority, which means you set the shutter speed and the light meter points to the best f/stop. It's impossible to shoot it manually.

Cool, Pit Yeah AE-1 is pretty nice. They made us shoot Aperture priority with our first assignment. I've just been using the kit lens till I can come up with enough for another lens. One my friend recommended to me is like 500 bucks lol.

But I Like your shots pit good job. Keep it up.

This was one ad for my campaign for repurposing project. I repurposed LED's on clothing but not like t-shirts a more up scale and tasteful. this was what I ended up doing. My friend Cassie shot it, I did everything else.
